Who am I?

That's a question I've never quite known how to answer in a single sentence.

I could start with my job, my education, or one of my many interests. But each answer would tell only one part of the story.

I love technology, creativity, sports, nature, and people. I love learning, exploring, and starting something new. Sometimes I have more ideas than time, and I'll admit that deciding which one to focus on first isn't always easy.

Still, I think it's precisely that curiosity that connects all my different interests.

At work. And outside of it.

My professional journey has been long and somewhat winding. Today, I work in the digital transformation of government and public administration.

My work involves technology, users, problem-solving, and communicating with people from different professional backgrounds. I often find myself somewhere between the technical and human sides of the story, trying to connect what a system can do with what people actually need.

And that part of my work has always interested me.

Because technology isn't an end in itself. Its value lies in what it enables, simplifies, or makes possible for someone.

And when I'm not at work?

I'm the person who might go for a run, hop on a bicycle, head out into nature, or suddenly decide I want to learn something I've never tried before.

I've also spent time doing creative work, from macramé to sewing. I've run my own small business and explored fields that, at first glance, have very little in common with information systems.

I've always believed in the value of making things with our hands. That feeling when you're creating something, completely focused on what you're doing, and for a little while your mind gets a break from everyday responsibilities. I believe activities like these can also play an important role in supporting mental well-being.

Every activity I've ever pursued has become a part of who I am and a part of my personality.

And there are some I no longer do.

And I'm perfectly fine with that.

Not everything we try has to become our greatest passion. Sometimes, simply experiencing something, learning from it, or discovering that something else interests us is enough.

How did the idea begin?

When I look at all my interests, there's something that connects them.

I love discovering things. But I get just as much enjoyment from showing someone something interesting, bringing people together, or helping an idea turn into a real experience.

Over time, I started thinking about creating a space that could bring all of that together.

A place where you could discover an activity you know almost nothing about, read about the experience of someone who's already tried it, get advice from someone who does it professionally, and, perhaps most importantly, find out where you can take that first step yourself.

Not just another website showing you what's out there.

But a place that helps you turn curiosity into experience.

That's how the idea for MOVE&TRY gradually began to take shape.

From an idea to MOVE&TRY

What's interesting is that building the platform itself has become another new experience.

From thinking through the concept, content, and design to dealing with technical problems, finding new solutions, having conversations, and making countless small decisions that eventually come together to form something bigger.

Some things worked straight away. Others didn't. And some still don't work quite the way I imagined they would.

There have been moments when I've created something, decided it could be better, and started all over again.

And those were often the moments when I found myself returning to the original idea behind the project.

If I want to encourage people to try something new, then I have to be willing to learn, make mistakes, change direction, and keep going myself.

MOVE&TRY didn't begin as a finished product.

It's taking shape through trial and error, learning, and the people who are becoming part of it.

People are what matter most

Perhaps this is actually the part of the project that excites me the most.

Throughout my life, I've met so many interesting people. People with different skills, talents, professions, experiences, and stories.

Some are involved in sports. Some create things with their hands. Others teach, research, advise, or develop ideas of their own.

And I often think about how much we could learn from one another if we simply had more opportunities to discover these different worlds.

That's why I don't see MOVE&TRY as just a collection of activities and content.

I want it to be a space where people can share what they know, show what they do, and inspire someone else to discover something new.

Because behind almost every activity, there's someone with a story of their own.

And those are the stories I want to bring closer to others.

I believe this is only the beginning

I don't know where this project will take me.

I have ideas, plans, and a vision of what I'd love to build. But I also know that some of the most interesting things happen when we allow ourselves to be surprised.

Maybe some ideas will develop differently from how I imagined. Maybe the people I meet along the way will open up entirely new directions.

And I'm looking forward to that.

Because MOVE&TRY is more than just a project to me.

It brings together everything I love: technology, creativity, activities, curiosity, and, above all, people.

And perhaps the best part of the whole story is that I still have no idea what I'll discover along the way.

For now, there's only one thing I know for sure: I believe this is just the beginning.
